This is original graduation badge of Soviet Higher MVD School. MVD stands for Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is made out of heavy brass and hot enamel in 1970th; screw back; 2-piece construction, gilded. Leningrad Mint. Screw plate is original with Leningrad Mint name on it. There is also Leningrad Mint and “Higher MVD School†stamps on the back. Information about the badge you can find in the book “Badges of USSR Universities†by Sidorov V. ; volume 1, page 76 #56.7.
