This is an ORIGINAL!!! Soviet DISTINGUISHED MILITARY SERVICE MEDAL 2nd CLASS. It was established by Decrees of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviets on May 20, 1976. The medal is made out of nickel alloy. These medals were awarded to servicemen of the Soviet Army and Navy and to Frontier guards and internal troops for outstanding achievements in combat training and political education, for displays of valor and gallantry during active service. Excellent condition. Moscow Mint. Great for collection.
