This is an antique solid sterling silver cigarette case that was made by D&B in Birmingham, England in 1927. It holds cigarettes on one side. It is curved to fit into a hip pocket. It weighs 83.2 grams. Size 2.7 x 3.4â€. The internal gilding is in very good condition. The case has minor dents (see pictures). It is hallmarked to the lid with D&B, anchor, lion (sterling silver assay mark), C showing that it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1927. The base is also hallmarked with lion and C.
