This is an antique solid sterling silver cigarette case that was made by J&S Company in Birmingham, England in 1926. It is double and holds cigarettes on both sides. One Elastic stripe is missing. It weighs 133 grams or 4.7 OZ. Size 3.75 x 3.4â€. The internal gilding is in excellent condition. It is hallmarked to the lid with J & S., anchor, lion (sterling silver assay mark), and B showing that it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1926. The base is also hallmarked with lion and B.
