Soviet USSR Military Navy Stem-Jack, issued, 100% wool, size 53x34''. National USSR standard of 1981 (#GOST 8498-81). Made in USSR in 1991 at the Soviet Naval factory in City of Vladimir, USSR. The stem-jack has double star with hammer and sickle in the middle of the flag. AUTHENTICITY IS GUARANTEED !!! It has stamps (see details) number, year of issue, and number of USSR standard and Russian word Guis which stands for Stem-Jack. The original USSR Navy flag is old and it might have some small signs of wearing, but it is in excellent shape for its age. It is very rare and great for collection. A stem-jack raised on a ship means that the ship belongs to the 1st or 2nd rank. The Stem-Jack rises on the Stem-Jack rod while the ship is on the anchor. Stem-Jack is also raised on the coastal fortresses.
