This beautiful vintage Our Lady of Kazan icon is made in Sofrino Monastery near Moscow, Russia in 2001. It is contemporary icon created according to ancient Russian Orthodox Church traditions. It is blessed by Russian church and has a stamp of Sofrino Monastery on the back of the icon. On the front of the icon there is a writing in ancient Russian language ''Virgin Mary of Kazan''. The icon is made on thick cardboard. The icon is decorated with gold foil (see details). Size is 9.5x7.25''.
