This is a Vintage Rare Kasli Cast-Iron beautiful vase in the shape of flower. This vase was cast out of Dutch soot iron using precision technique. It was made in the 1987 at the Kasli Architectural and Artistic Casting Plant located in Chelyabinsk Region in USSR. The vase was designed by Soviet artist Gniyatullina. The vase has original stamp of Kasli plant (see picture). Size: 6.25Hx7.75''upper diameter, base 5'' diameter; weight 3.61lb. Kasli cast-iron products were produced in Kasli (Southern Ural), from the mid-19th century. Kasli castings are characterized by skilled craftsmanship visible in exceptional clarity and smoothness of the metal surface. High-quality iron was smelted on a wood fire and cast in consistently fine sand. The vase is in excellent vintage condition.
