This Russian jewelry was made in Rostov the Great (Russia). It is completely hand painted. The process of making this type of Russian enamel work is very complicated. After each color the jewelry must be fired in a special oven then cooled off and painted with the next color. This process is being repeated, as many times as there are colors on the jewelry piece.
