This is an antique solid sterling silver cigarette case that was made by H.W.P.M. company in Birmingham, England in 1930. It holds cigarettes on one side. It weighs 147 grams; 5.2 oz. Size 4 x 3.2â€. The internal gilding is in excellent condition. It is hallmarked to the lid with H.W.P.M, co, anchor, lion (sterling silver assay mark), F showing that it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1930. The base is also hallmarked with lion and F. The cigarette case has engraving on upper face (see picture). Great condition for its age; great for any collection.
