This is an antique solid sterling silver cigarette case that was made by Henry Birks & Sons at one time Canada Premier Jewelers long known as the “Tiffany's of Canadaâ€. This graceful and elegant sterling silver gold plated cigarette case dates from the early to mid 1930th. It holds cigarettes on one side. It is heavy weighs 5.2 OZ or 148 grams. Size 4.5 x 3.25â€. The internal gilding is in excellent condition. It is hallmarked by Henry Birks & Sons Company (see pictures). The cigarette case is monogrammed on the front with the initials RJH (see picture).
