For the first time the unbroken tradition of ancient Russian painting from XIV to the XX Centuries has been demonstrated in this album. The book was created by A. Knyazeva, N. Kuzenina and O. Kolesova. They made very nice album of great examples of Russian Palekh icon paintings. The book was published in Moscow by Progress Publishers in 1994. Hard cover, dust jacket, cloth binding. A lot of wonderful illustrations with captions; 151 pages. The book is written in English and Russian. The book is in very good condition. The cloth binding has some light spots.
