The very rare vintage table medal was issued in USSR in 1974 to commemorate the end of sea trials of Soviet nuclear icebreaker “Arktikaâ€. The front of the medal has the image of the Atomic icebreaker ARKTIKA and writing “Atomic Icebreaker Arktika, Leningrad, Baltic Shipyardâ€. The back of the medal has the image of the ship propeller, Anchor and 1974. The medal is made out of heavy white metal, 114 grams, diameter 67 mm, thickness 5 mm. Coming in plastic box.
