It is an exact copy of 1918 Soviet Cavalry hat which was worn by Red Army personnel during Russian Civil War of 1918-1922. The budenovka was made with a lot of details (see how many stitches are on the visor) like the original. Made out in USSR from 100% heavy wool and lined with cotton in 1980th. This type of wool was used for Soviet Army winter overcoats. Color is brown (pictures on computer can have slightly different color). Red star is sewn on. This hat was called BUDENOVKA after the name of the legendary Red Army commander Semen Budenny.
