This is a beautiful old Russian solid brass Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary icon. To the best of our knowledge the icon was made in the beginning of XX Century circa 1920. The icon is in excellent condition. It has image of Jesus on the top of the icon and the Russian writing on the top frame “ Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Maryâ€. Size is 2.4†(with the image) x 1.8†x 0.1†thick.
