This is a beautiful antique Russian Orthodox Our Lady of Vladimir icon. This unique icon was handmade out of heavy over 9 oz tin with copper face. This technique is absolutely rare and time consuming. To the best of our knowledge the icon was made in the beginning of XX Century, circa 1920. The icon is in excellent condition. Size is 3.5 x 3.2 x 0.75†thick. The icon is set in wood frame and has a contemporary cardboard back.
