This nice vintage decorative set of 2 cutting boards and wall holder is completely handmade in USSR/ Belarus in 1980s. The Belarusian artist created this beautiful art using pieces of regular straw on furniture type thick 3/8 hardwood plywood. Look what kind of skill is involved in this work!!!! Each piece of straw is hand cut and glued on the thick plywood surface by the Belarusian artist. Can you imagine how much time was spent to make this plaque? This kitchen wall decoration is wonderful gifts for any occasion. The wall holder has 2 small holes on the back to hang it on the wall. They are very collectible because they were made in USSR. Excellent condition. It was not used but it was kept for over 30 years in warehouse and might have some small imperfections. Cutting board size 8.25 x 5.75”; wall holder 13 x 2”; overall size 13 x 9”H.
