This nice vintage plaque wall decoration is completely handmade in USSR/ Belarus in 1987. The Belarusian artist created this beautiful art “Architecture of Belarusian City of Gomel” using pieces of regular straw on furniture type thick 3/8 plywood. Look what kind of skill is involved in this work!!!! Each piece of straw is hand cut and glued on the thick plywood surface by the Belarusian artist. Can you imagine how much time was spent to make this plaque? This wall decoration is wonderful gifts for any occasion. The plaque has a small hole on the back to hang it on the wall. They are very collectible because they were made in USSR. Size 9.5 x 9.5”. Excellent condition for its age. It might have some very small imperfections due to the over 30 years in the warehouse. The plaque has original Belarusian Factory label. You will get the exact plaque you see on the pictures.
