This is authentic Western Ukrainian vintage one of a kind hard wood box. It is made in 1960s by great Ukrainian unknown artist. The box has striking design. The box is decorated with different types of inlay: mother of pearl, different colors of wood and beads. It has absolutely beautiful openwork wood carving. The box is made out of heavy thick hardwood. The artist paid great attention to the details with huge amount of time involved for this work of art. The box is in excellent condition for its age but it might have some minor imperfections. It is one of a kind and you buy what you see on the pictures. It is a great chance to own this one-of-a-kind piece of West Ukrainian history! The bottom of the box is connected to sides with very nice wooden spikes. Size 15 x 11.5 x 2.25”; weights almost 5 LB.
