This ceramic figurine of eagle was made in Georgia (Former USSR) as a bottle for Georgian Kindzmarauli wine. The bottle is empty; it was manufactured in 2016. It is bronze color and very unique. Size is 9.75H x 5.5” inches. The bottle comes empty without wine and without cork. The head of the eagle is removable. The bottle is in excellent shape but it might have slight imperfections (see pictures). Georgia is one of the oldest wine producing regions of the world. The fertile valleys of the South Caucasus, which Georgia straddles, are believed by many archaeologists to be the source of the world's first cultivated grapevines and Neolithic wine production, over 8,000 years ago.
