Authentic antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox 3-folded solid bronze triptych traveling icon. SUBJECT OF THE TRIPTYCH IS VERY RARE BECAUSE CENTER PANEL HAS IMAGES OF MARTYRS WHICH IS NOT COMMON AS MAJOR SAINTS AND ARCHANGELS. The center panel depicts 3 Christian Martyrs: Antipas of Pergamum Martyr and Bishop blessing with his right hand with the Book of Gospel in his left hand (Saint Antipas is invoked for relief from toothache, and diseases of the teeth); Martyr Myron holding byzantine cross and the third Martyr we were not able to identify. The left and right folds have scenes from the Bible. The triptych is in excellent antique condition (see the pictures) but the right panel can be removed easily when it turns 90 degree.
